A beautiful wildlife haven
Lake Nakuru National Park has become one of Kenya's most popular parks for annual visitor visits because of the park's amazing characteristics and abundance of birds. When visiting Lake Nakuru Park, tourists can engage in a variety of activities like bird watching, game viewing, camping, and picnics on the park's stunning granite overlooks.
The incredibly rare and endangered Rothschild giraffes were introduced to Lake Nakuru National area in 1977 from western Kenya in order to provide conservation and protection, earning the area the distinction of being home to these magnificent creatures. The park was also named Kenya's first government-designated rhino sanctuary.
