An adventure that is well worth the trip is a hot air balloon ride in the Maasai Mara. The whole experience takes 4-5 hours from when you are picked from your camp/hotel. Normally hot air balloon flights last for 45 minutes to 1 hour. This period of stay in the air is determined by amount of fuel on board, weather condition and altitude. After the adventure the balloon is deflated and passengers are treated with bush breakfast. Hot Air balloon can carry  between 4-16 people including the pilot. However, exact number of passengers that can be accommodated will be determined by weight and capacity of the balloon as well as safety measures that will be properly checked by the pilot before take off. Minimum age required during this adventure is 4 years and above. People using wheel chairs are allowed to take a balloon ride. However clients are required to indicate during booking because client will be required to book extra seat for care giver during the ride.
